Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Paralogues Guide

Nine optional battles with route-specific access and limited windows

Last updated:

What are Paralogues in Fortune’s Weave

Paralogues are optional battles in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave that supplement the main Heroic Games narrative. Unlike standard matches, Paralogues often present complex objectives, limited-time access windows, and unique rewards that cannot be obtained elsewhere. Each Paralogue is tied to a specific character, and completing them can affect character availability in later parts of the game.

Nine Paralogues exist in Part I of the game, with none appearing in Part II or Part III. This makes early route planning critical—missing a Paralogue window on one path does not mean it is lost forever, since parallel play via Pale Raven’s Perch lets you return to earlier chapters on a different Hero.

Route Availability Overview

Not every Paralogue is accessible on every route. The following table shows which Paralogues are available on each of the four Hero paths:

Dietrich’s ParalogueN/AN/AAvailableAvailable

Dietrich has access to the most Paralogues—eight of nine—while Cai and Leda each have access to only four. Theodora’s unique position as a Flame Lord who only appears as a full Hero on her own route means her Paralogue is accessible only through Dietrich’s path.

Complete Paralogue List

Diversionary Tactics (Leda’s Paralogue)

  • Obtained from: Leda at Temple Row (9/2 – 9/8)
  • Availability: Dietrich: 9/2–9/8 | Theodora: 9/2–9/8
  • Reward: Silver Shield, 20,000G, 150R
  • Note: The battle takes place specifically on 9/8. The game auto-advances if you start earlier.
  • Strategy: Simplest Paralogue in the game. Clear enemies while destroying obstacles. Watch for poison tiles.

Missing Brave-Warrior Statue (Theodora’s Paralogue)

  • Obtained from: Bonaventure at Temple Row
  • Availability: Dietrich: 9/3–9/12 (Deadline 9/15)
  • Reward: Pilum, 20,000G, 150R
  • Strategy: Fog-of-war map with three pressure plates in SE, SW, and NW corners. Keep fragile units protected in the rear.

Friendly Match with Brigid’s King (Bertrand’s Paralogue)

  • Obtained from: Gabriel at Arena Square
  • Availability: Cai: 9/17–9/25 (Deadline 9/25) | Dietrich: 9/17 ONLY | Theodora: 9/17–9/25 (Deadline 9/25)
  • Reward: Extra Large Bullion, 20,000G, 150R
  • Strategy: Race to defeat four giants before Peppe’s group. Use bait items to prevent enemies from damaging your target. Defeating a Giant removes nearby yellow allied units.

Secret of the Vanished Carriage (Talimun’s Paralogue)

  • Obtained from: Talimun near the Port
  • Availability: Cai/Dietrich/Theodora: 9/17–9/22 OR 10/1–10/10 (Deadline 10/12)
  • Reward: Cleansing Blade, 20,000G, 150R
  • Strategy: Thieves grab cargo and flee toward the exit at the top of the map. Position at least one unit to intercept thieves before they escape.

Golden Secret (Anna’s Paralogue)

  • Obtained from: Anna at Dagsion Summit
  • Availability: Cai: 9/24–10/5 | Dietrich: 9/29–10/5 | Theodora: 9/24–10/5 (Deadline 10/5)
  • Reward: Orichalcum, 20,000G, 150R
  • Strategy: Limited units allowed. Bring a healer with Physic and someone who can damage armored enemies. Let Solel face the Giant, then retreat and clear ore deposits before finishing the Giant.

Queen of the Erased (Anatolia’s Paralogue)

  • Obtained from: Anatolia at City Streets
  • Availability: Dietrich: 10/5–10/14 (Deadline 10/17) | Leda: 10/5–10/14 (Deadline 10/17)
  • Reward: Electron Agitator, 20,000G, 150R
  • Bonus: Spellshard and Dew of Peace if all villagers are saved
  • Strategy: Most difficult Paralogue. The pentkehydra boss does not need to be defeated and does not grant bonus rewards. First, ensure villagers are not confused, then move them counter-clockwise to the exit. Attack worms to stun the boss.

Great Escape (Cai’s Paralogue)

  • Obtained from: Cai at City Streets (10/16–10/22)
  • Availability: Dietrich/Theodora/Leda: 10/16–10/22 (Deadline 10/22)
  • Reward: Gem Box, 20,000G, 150R
  • Note: The battle takes place on 10/22 in Dagsion.
  • Strategy: Defend against enemies reaching a destination. Focus on defeating Centurio as quickly as possible.

Sealed-Off Past (Dietrich’s Paralogue)

  • Obtained from: Fabio near the Arena
  • Availability: Theodora: 10/16–10/24 | Leda: 10/16–10/22 (Deadline 11/1)
  • Reward: Salamander x2, 20,000G, 150R
  • Strategy: 10-turn defense map. Position archers on the east side to eliminate Pegasus Knights. Strongest team should handle the main defense with little difficulty.

Orchel’s Regret (Orchel’s Paralogue)

  • Obtained from: Orchel at Lower Temple Row (10/18–10/25)
  • Availability: Cai: 10/18–10/20 (Deadline 10/21) | Dietrich: 10/18–10/25 (Deadline 10/27) | Theodora: 10/18–10/24 (Deadline 10/24) | Leda: 10/18–10/25 (Deadline 10/27)
  • Reward: Healing Staff, 20,000G, 150R
  • Strategy: Largest Paralogue map. Split team to hit two switches simultaneously to damage the boss and surrounding enemies. Pegasus Knights reinforce the east side—do not leave anyone vulnerable behind.

Impact on Part III

Paralogue completion may affect character availability in Part III of the game. If you complete a Flame Lord’s Paralogue but do NOT complete their Part I Path, that character will be available in Part III in a “limited” capacity—as a battle unit only, without story access or Support conversations.

For example, completing Dietrich’s Path while also completing Theodora’s Paralogue, but never finishing Theodora’s own path, means Theodora appears in Part III limited mode. If you complete all four Part I paths, no characters are restricted.

Strategic Considerations

Given the limited windows and route-specific availability, consider these approaches:

  1. Dietrich first — His access to eight of nine Paralogues makes him ideal for collecting rewards and recruiting characters early.
  2. Track deadlines carefully — Bertrand’s Paralogue on Dietrich’s route is available for only one day (9/17).
  3. Plan recruitment around Paralogues — Some characters like Diego require completing Orchel’s Paralogue before recruitment.
  4. Use parallel play — Pale Raven’s Perch lets you return to earlier dates on different Heroes to catch missed Paralogues.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers grounded in what Nintendo has revealed so far.

How many Paralogues are there in Fortune's Weave?

There are nine Paralogues in Part I of the game, each tied to a character. None appear in Part II or Part III.

Which route has the most Paralogue access?

Dietrich's path grants access to eight of nine Paralogues—the most of any route. Cai and Leda each access only four.

What happens if I miss a Paralogue deadline?

You can return via parallel play through Pale Raven's Perch to access missed Paralogues on a different Hero's timeline.

Bertrand's Paralogue is available only on 9/17 for Dietrich's route—the most restrictive window in the game.

Where can I learn about recruitment alongside Paralogues?

See the Recruitment Guide for how Paralogue completion unlocks character recruitment requirements.
